O'KEEFE'S NEW SCHOOL TERM STARTS EARLY

Group's construction arm wins two new groundworks contracts worth £8.7 million

The construction division of the O'Keefe Group has been awarded two enabling and groundworks contracts in East London by the Mid Group, totalling £8.7 million.

The first contract worth £4.5 million is for an all-through new school at Lymington Fields Dagenham and the second contract for £4.3 million is part of a phased expansion at Greatfields School in Barking, which once completed will accommodate up to 1,800 pupils.

The scope of works for both projects will include groundworks, RC frames and external works. O'Keefe has just started on site at Greatfields and work will commence at Lymington in mid-August.

James Bourke, London regional director for O'Keefe, said: “We are very excited to be working for a new client and looking forward to forging a strong working relationship with the Mid Group teams.”

Both projects are due to complete in 2019.
