Move will help contractors complete projects more quickly and easily.

Armstrong Ceiling Solutions is set to slash lead times for the supply ofceiling system solutions with the launch of a newdistribution service for Middle Eastern countries.

The warehouse at Jebel Ali Port, the busiest port in the Middle East, comprisesup to 100,000m2 of state-of-the-art storage facilities and will holda wide range of Armstrong ceiling systems that will be available to hundreds ofcontractors within one to two weeks.

These include tiles such as Dune Supreme (Board, Tegular and MicroLook) and Dune Max Board, Ultima+ (Board, Tegular andMicroLook) and Fine Fissured (Board and Tegular), as well as compatiblesuspension systems such as Prelude 15 and 24, and perimeter trim solutions.

The move gives Armstrong additional local control over the distributionof its quality alternative ceiling system solutions that come complete with a peerless30-year system warranty.

The arrangement is bound to prove popular as contractors will pay onlyfor what they need at the time and not a percentage of the overall projectvalue, enabling them to complete projects more quickly and easily.

Manned by dedicated Armstrong staff, the distribution centre willservice the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Kuwait in a fraction of the timeArmstrong product used to be available.

UAE sales director Mohamed Khaled said: “I think our new distribution serviceis a very significant development that is not only going to be verywell-received by our customers but will also enable us to access parts of themarket we were not able to before.”
