Now there's a week extra for entries to the 19 categories to besubmitted.

Organisers of the inaugural BREEAM National Insulation Industry Awards arepleased to announce they have extended the deadline for entries to Friday 1stSeptember.

This gives manufacturers, contractors, clients and marketeers a week extraover the late summer Bank Holiday to enter one or more of the 19 categories forthe awards which will be judged the following week.

The exemplary set of judges includes Lord Deben, Rob Pannell from theNHBC,  Claire-Curtis Thomas from the BBA,Kevin Bohea from BRUFMA, and Dr Will Swan, a Professor of Building EnergyPerformance at the University of Salford.

The Rt Hon Lord Deben said: “I'm so pleased to be judging and takingpart in the National Insulation Industry Awards. The insulation industry playsa vital part in energy efficiency and the battle against climate change.”

The event has also secured the services of TV personality Nick Knowlesas host for the awards night on November 30th at the state-of-the-art EastMidlands Conference Centre and Orchard Hotel when more than 600 guests areexpected for the five-course gala dinner.
