TLC pr director Tracy Twitchin competes in her sixth Little Britain Challenge Cup this year, as part of the all-female Association of Women in Property (WiP) team.

The WiP crew regained their traditional trophy from the annual construction industry regatta last year – the PRC Fewster Cup for 50% Female crew - and are planning on doing at least the same this year, with a new professional skipper.

2015 will be the third year the WiP team has competed in the Sunsail F40 IRC racing class which is judged on a first-across-the-line basis rather than the handicap system employed when the team competed in the cruising class on a 33-foot Royal Engineers’ yacht. This also enables them to make use of a spinnaker.

2015 will also be WiP’s 12th successive campaign, usually winning or being placed in the Alliance teams and coming halfway overall out of all entries.

City-based senior principal project manager Carol Bell draws together a multi-disciplinary team of female built environment professionals from all over the UK, with two new crew this year:

Lesley Logan, design manager, Morgan Sindall, Glasgow

Claire Gillard, director, Sunrise Interiors, Port Talbot

Valerie Evans, director, Atkins, Epsom

Margaret Cooke, director, Integral Engineering Design, Bath (new)

Zoe Smeeth, project director, JAC Design & Project Management, London (new)
