TLC pr director Tracy Twitchin (pictured far left) has helped the Association of Women In Property (WiP) regain their traditional trophy from the annual construction industry regatta, the Little Britain Challenge Cup (September 5-6).

This year was Tracy's fifth in the team and the second year it competed in the Sunsail F40 IRC racing class which is judged on a first-across-the-line basis rather than the handicap system employed when the team competed in the cruising class on a 33-foot Royal Engineers' yacht.

The move enabled the team to gain extra ground among the larger boats as well as have more WiP members on board although this year three of the four races planned were cancelled due to lack of wind. Despite this, the WiP team performed admirably in the one remaining race.

So this year, its 11th successive campaign, the Women in Property crew regained the PRC Fewster Cup for 50% Female crew which it lost last year for the first time in many years, was third in the Alliance teams and 29th overall out of 48 entries in all classes.

City-based project manager Carol Bell drew together a multi-disciplinary team of female built environment professionals from all over the UK.
