TLC pr director Tracy Twitchin is competing in her fourth Little Britain Challenge Cup (September 12-14) as part of an enhanced all-female crew from the Association of Women in Property (WiP).

The team chose 2012 to step up from cruising to IRC racing class to enable them to use a spinnaker on their 33-foot Royal Engineers' yacht to gain extra ground among the larger boats and this year is taking that one step further by competing in the Sunsail F40 class which is judged on a first-across-the-line basis rather than handicaps. The larger yacht also enables them to grow the team from six to eight.

The WiP crew, which has successfully defended the PRC Fewster Cup for 50% Female crew every year since 2007, is participating in its 10th consecutive campaign. WiP is looking to improve upon its best-ever performance in 2010 when the crew came fourth overall in the Tarkett Somer Trophy for cruising yachts and 17th overall out of 111 entries in all classes.

City-based project manager Carol Bell has again drawn together a multi-disciplinary team of female built environment professionals from all over the UK.
