GROUNDFORCE UNVEILS NEW SAFETY PRODUCTS AT RESOURCE IRELAND
 

Construction rental specialists Groundforce is expanding its range of products and services with the introduction of 10 new confined space safety products, further establishing the company as the leading excavation support supplier to the Irish construction, water and environmental sectors.

 

Their new range will be unveiled at this years Resource Ireland exhibition, which takes place from the 17th - 18th October, 2012.

 

Supplied by their sister division ESS Safeforce, these new products will  be available to purchase as well as hire, within 24 hours of an order being placed from the company's depot at Portlaoise, County Laois.

 

The newly expanded product range will include - gas detection, breathing apparatus, inspection and confined space access equipment, plus hazardous area ventilation & power equipment, and rescue, resuscitation & general Safety equipment.

 

         Gas detection - 2 new products, the Crowcon Tetra 3 Gas Detector and the Draegar XAM 2000 Gas Detector - both items are compact and robust,  with 4 gas capability and rated to IP67.

 

         Breathing apparatus -The 10 Minute Escape Sets and the Scott Self Contained Breathing Apparatus - providing safe, effective escape from hazardous environments.

 

         Inspection equipment - Leica Digicat i-series Cable Avoidance Tools and Radio Detection C.A.T.3V & C.A.T.3+, designed to locate buried cables which can be a major hazard during excavation.

 

         Confined space access - Confined Space Rope Rescue System - a robust and versatile roping system for safe raising and lowering of personal

 

         Hazardous area ventilation & power - The Confined Space Blower 200MM - lightweight yet powerful and ideal for ventilating confined spaces.

 

         Rescue, resuscitation & general safety - The Paraguard Rescue Stretcher - compact and versatile making it ideal for search and rescue operations and for rescuing casualties from confined spaces, building collapses and industrial accidents
